Who I Am
I'm the kind of person who genuinely enjoys hearing people's stories. I've always been drawn to understanding what makes people who they are—the experiences that shape them, the challenges they carry, and the strengths they often don't realize they have. I'm naturally curious, deeply compassionate, and someone who believes that meaningful connection can be incredibly healing.
Outside of the therapy office, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, working on a project that's probably more ambitious than it needs to be, checking something off a to-do list just for the satisfaction of crossing it out, or searching for a quiet place to recharge. I appreciate both deep conversations and well-timed humor, and I believe life is often a little easier when we can find moments to laugh—even in the middle of the hard stuff.
At my core, I value authenticity, kindness, and creating spaces where people can show up exactly as they are. You don't need to have the right words, have everything figured out, or be the "perfect" version of yourself here. Truthfully, none of us have it all together all the time, despite what our planners, social media feeds, or color-coded calendars might suggest.
My hope is that when you meet with me, you'll feel less like you're sitting across from an expert with all the answers and more like you're sitting with a genuine person who is honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your own path.
The story behind p-pod therapy
The name P-Pod Therapy is more than just a title—it’s rooted in generations of love, growth, and connection.
Long before the idea of starting a therapy practice ever came to life, there was a small stretch of land in the countryside called the P-Pod Ranch. It’s where my husband grew up—running barefoot through tall grass, learning to ride horses before he could ride a bike, and soaking up the kind of peace only nature can offer. The name “P-Pod” came from his family’s nickname for the place, a nod to their last name and the way they always seemed to stick together like peas in a pod.
Years later, that same ranch is where our children now play. They chase the same trails, feed the same animals, and fall asleep under the same wide sky. It’s become a symbol for us—not just of home, but of what it means to feel safe, seen, and connected.
That’s what I hope to create through P-Pod Therapy. A space where people feel held, not just in comfort, but in growth. Where healing is grounded in belonging. And where, like our little ranch, every person who walks through the door is reminded that they’re never alone in the pod.
That’s the heart of P-Pod Therapy—family roots, deep peace, and the power of connection.
